Citing this table

This table has an associated publication. If you use data from it, it may be appropriate to reference 2020MNRAS.494..199S (ADS BibTeX entry for the publication) either in addition to or instead of the service reference.

To cite the table as such, we suggest the following BibTeX entry:

Resource Documentation

EL-COSMOS is a synthetic emission line catalogue that contains predictions of emission-line fluxes such as [OII] or Hα for all ~518,000 COSMOS 2015 photometric galaxies (Laigle et al. 2016). The prediction was calibrated and compared with the spectroscopic measurements in zCOSMOS-Bright and 3D-HST. The release also includes a predicted SED spectrum for each galaxy as well as broadband predicted magnitudes.

The resource contains both the catalogue and the synthetic spectrum of each source. The preview PNG of each spectrum displays the flux points from the COSMOS 2015 catalogue.

Field zones

The COSMOS field was divided into 9 zones. For each zone, a tarball containing all the spectra on the zone can be downloaded from ASPIC web site (https://cesam.lam.fr/aspic/).

ASPIC

ASPIC (Archives Spectrophotométriques Publiques Intégrées au CeSAM) is the public spectro-photometric archive of the Laboratoire d'Astrophysique de Marseille data-centre (CeSAM, Centre de donnéeS Astrophysiques de Marseille). We give access to spectro-photometric data with value additions like physical parameters, photometric redshifts, and spectra line measurements.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

Research work benefiting from the use of ASPIC data at CeSAM should include the following acknowledgement in publications: “This research has made use of the ASPIC database, operated at CeSAM/LAM, Marseille, France.”
